I have a thought today, that the very idea that we have a concept of God, and the word God is proof enough that He does indeed exist. Shelley was not feeling well today, and as I was checking on her in the bedroom, she was watching "The View", a show we never watch because spicy t.v. is not our daily faire. But today, the moment we saw had them discussing somebody believing in God, and one of them said "I really don't know if there is a God or not" blah blah. And then I had a thought.

The very fact that we even have word God, proves that there is a God. Science has shown that people cannot conceive of something unless they have been given the idea of it. Where has the idea come from in the first place? In our imagination, our emotions, our quiet time while contemplating life and death, our time of looking at nature, there is a sense that there is some entity extremely powerful that brought all of this order into existence.

In this modern day, the most compelling evidence is the historical documentation of the man who walked this earth followed by miracles, signs, and wonders: Jesus. I read Acts Chapter 2, which gives historical account of the most amazing person that ever lived. No one has claimed to be God, was a true healer, promised salvation, and raised himself from the dead, all while fulfilling a schienc boggling 300 prophecies of it all taking place.

People choose to reject God based on our own flesh bend on self-destruction, nothing else, nothing more. We know that God is our creater, comforter, and everything. If we would just stop blaming Him for our problems, and accept that people choose to do dumb things, thus wreaking havoc on our reality. Focus on all of the things that go right. They are far more than the bad. Even through the difficult and tragic, if we know Jesus, the core of our soul can be at peace.
